Is Your Parking Lot Easy to Navigate?
Parking areas with crisp, clear lines and directions make for a better customer experience. They’re also safer for your clients, employees, and tenants. Over time, lines fade due to traffic, weather, and sun, which is why parking lots should be relined about every 18–24 months.
Why Stripe Your Lot?
A lot with highly visible lines looks nice and maintains order and safety, helping visitors avoid parking where they should not and preventing pedestrian or vehicular accidents on your property. Parking areas with faded lines put your customers and employees in an environment that can be confusing and unsafe.
What We Can Stripe
Any public or private parking lots that see heavy vehicular or pedestrian traffic can benefit from striping to provide safety and keep traffic patterns moving through the area in an organized fashion. Whether you have a new lot and need striping for the first time, or you have a lot that requires complete or partial re-striping, give Black Canvas Sealcoat, in Coeur d’Alene, ID, a call. We can even provide a new parking lot layout altogether to ensure you are maximizing your space.
How to Prepare for Line Striping
A prepped surface will ensure your parking lot striping looks its best and lasts a long time. Follow these guidelines to get ready for striping:
- Walk through your lot and look for areas have holes or cracks. Arranging for those repairs first will make the most of your striping.
- Clear your lot by sweeping away any gravel, dirt, or trash before your appointment.
- Turn off sprinklers or irrigation 24 hours before your striping appointment to ensure the asphalt is completely dry.
